wonderful series. great theme song. This is the second Danish series I am watching after The Unit. rivetting stuff. thanks for the music.

This is one of the most brilliant and haunting songs I have ever heard.  The “eagle” series is suberb and acting at its best.

Took me a while to find where I could listen to that song online in its entirety, so thank you for making it available.  Now I wish I could buy the soundtrack but it only seems to be available in Denmark.

If you need help to buy the album I can recommend the danish webshop http://www.axelmusic.dk. If you choose english language in the upper right corner and then search for Misen, my two relases pop up. It’s easy and safe - I have been told by those who bought from there (also from Australia) Kr. 99.95 is almost 14 euro.

What a brilliant series - absolutely gutted when it finished. Stunning scenery and camera work and as for the sound track - it gives me goosebumps.

Just finished season 1 over here last week which was fantastic but I missed the first few episodes. Can’t wait for SBS to start season 2! Wonderful soundtrack too!

When I heard this song at TV series ‘The Eagle’ I had a pen ready to find out more about it. And I did it…. I did it…I run with this song like flying…
Words are beautiful, song is fabulous…I just forwarded to dear friend who loves it!!

Wonderful music, I’m sure it gives the movie a great atmosphere. The poster is quite impressive too, it drawn my attention. I can’t wait for the series to come out. I think i’ll try it for a season or two.

Forgiveness, the song from The Eagle TV series is simply wondrous. Evocative, and an incredible vocal, particularly when matched to the beautiful opening and closing sequences of each episode. A magical song and an exquisite TV series. Came on to it following the similarly outstanding series from the same producers UNIT ONE (not The Unit as mentioned above).

Lyrics - does anybody else think the Misen sings this line, instead of “...passed all the sorrow and pain” - the one word makes quite a difference to the meaning of the song -

then I will have passed ON the sorrow and pain

What a wonderful, haunting song: both music and lyrics. I’m a bit puzzled about
‘Then I will have passed all the sorrow and pain’, ‘passed’ as in ‘left behind’ perhaps?
Maybe it’s just the English translation. I’m so impressed with this song - any song! - about forgiveness and I’m very familiar with lots of church songs/hymns. This one has real freshness. Great work.
