UFOs: The Secret Evidence

First aired by Channel 4 (UK), October 2005, this television programme set out to solve some of the great UFO mysteries, perhaps even provide a catch-all explanation for the whole field of Ufology. The film was written and presented by journalist Nick Cook, who has been an aviation editor and aerospace consultant for the world-renowned trade publication "Jane's Defence Weekly". His stance on UFOs seems open-minded and objective. He also manages to gain interviews with some very intriguing individuals from the aerospace and intelligence fields.

And finally: What the World Governments really know about UFOs? This film includes 44 original UFO films from all around the world, most of them never shown before, including films from the archives of NASA and the U.S. Air Force.

Fascinating!

Key to the Tarot & Study of the Tarot & The Egyptian Revival

Free e-Books (pdf):

The pathology of the poet says that "the undevout astronomer is mad"; the pathology of the very plain man says that genius is mad; and between these extremes, which stand for ten thousand analogous excesses, the sovereign reason takes the part of a moderator and does what it can. I do not think that there is a pathology of the occult dedications, but about their extravagances no one can question, and it is not less difficult than thankless to act as a moderator regarding them.

Moreover, the pathology, if it existed, would probably be an empiricism rather than a diagnosis, and would offer no criterion. Now, occultism is not like mystic faculty, and it very seldom works in harmony either with business aptitude in the things of ordinary life or with a knowledge of the canons of evidence in its own sphere.

The Pictorial Key to the Tarot by Arthur Edward Waite.
(originally published 1910)

The circles are the ten Sephiroth. Their numbers are printed above their names, and these are also the numbers of the Tarot trumps from the Magician to the Wheel of Fortune. Below the Sephirotic titles are the numbers of the major trumps which also correspond to those Sephiroth.

To those critics who may complain that my interpretations of the Tarot differ widely from most of those published hitherto, I would point out the fact that nearly all the explanations of the Tarot that have found their way into print have been based upon the false attribution of the cards to the Hebrew alphabet, used by Eliphas Levi.

Finally, I have said nothing of the divinatory uses of the Tarot, not because I agree with those who deprecate its application to the art of divination; but rather because it is my belief that the best results in foretelling the future with the Tarot can he obtained by none who are not thoroughly grounded in the philosophy of the cares.

The Tarot Trumps, being a sort of Universal Alphabet, may of course be interpreted in a variety of ways, but I shall discuss their Symbolism when arranged upon the Paths of the Tree of Life according to the Reformed Astrological Order given in the Appendix to
Q. B. L.

If by this means we obtain "More Light on the Tarot Trumps" and the Universal Tradition, which transcends what we call Light and Darkness, becomes plainer to my readers, the book will not have been written in vain.

Before discussing the matter in detail, I am giving a brief summary dealing with the earliest traditions of Mankind and their effect upon the present day, or the New Aeon, the Cycle of Aquarius, in which we are not living.

My Favorites:

These tracks span from Xi'an (formerly Chang'an), the capital of ancient China, through central Asia to the Mediterranean and the Black Sea and include sounds of Afghanistan, China, Iran, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, and other Central Eurasian nations and peoples.

Radio Haiti:
Some say that Haiti has been in perpetual revolution for 200 years. If so, then that revolution has a soundtrack: one that began with the rattle of the Taino caciques; that invokes healing and fighting spirits with the drums and chants of rada and petwo in Vodou; and that continues to express the appetite for freedom through the sly double meanings (betiz) in the songs of Carnival and rara, the cathartic dance rhythms of konpa and the compelling global edge of mizik rasin (roots music).

The Alhambra Tour

The Alhambra - Arabic: الحمراء = Al Ħamrā'; literally "The Red Castle" - is an ancient mosque, palace and fortress complex of the Moorish monarchs of Granada, in southern Spain. And this is an amazing tour through this monument!

The Alhambra is actually a complex of several groups of monuments which have to be seen as a process of historic evolution. The tour begins with the Alcazaba, or fortress. It lies on the west side. The tour ends to the east, on a spur of the Alhambra’s main hill, in the gardens of the Generalife. At the center of the Alhambra’s
walled compound lie its architectural jewels, the interiors of the Nasrid palaces. That is where most of the panoramas have been made.

This virtual walking tour is comprised of 25 spherical panoramic photographs that place you inside the image, as if you were standing in the place where the photo was made. Use your mouse to pan around each photo. Use your Ctrl key to zoom out, and your Shift key to zoom in on details.

Water, vegetation and architecture unite in perfect harmony, resembling the Islamic concept of Paradise. Islam considers enjoyment of gardens to be a divine reward. The Qur’an says,:

“Those who believe and do good works will enter gardens, below which rivers will flow eternally for them…. They will enter the cool shade.”

You can listen to the sound of the water mixing with the whispering of the bay leaves. The trees create a closely-woven vault, giving shade and cool to this magical spot.

Surnateum - the Museum of Supernatural History

The Surnateum is far more than a website designed to entertain and enlighten you. It is the virtual front-end for one of the most astonishing collections of authentic magical artefacts and strange stories gathered from around the world by the Collectors and Curators for more than a century.

The Museum invites you to explores the galleries of space and time and to plunge headlong into a view of the world unbounded by scientific rationality. A world where numbers are divine, where extraordinary creatures and entities live alongside us, in symbiosis or in conflict, a world which seeks refuge behind the covers of books read with a slightly sardonic smile. Strange charms, forgotten incantations, cursed antique objects, legendary grimoires, forbidden knowledge - clearly the stuff of fiction and fantasy. And yet, we have real objects to remind us that anything might be real, anything was once real - and anything might still be real.

In today's world, there still exist shamans who travel in the dream world, misunderstood prophets, spellbinding storytellers, hard-core alchemists and magicians. Real magicians who still 'dream their world', fashioning it each and every day.

The Museum would like to take this opportunity to remind you that it can be dangerous to play with forces that you do not control and in which you do not really believe. We will tell you about the time we tracked down a vampire, the time we tried to break the time barrier and the time we tried to overcome the narrow constraints of ordinary reality. The Museum will show you what, deep down, you already knew, but never dared say: namely, that the frontier between the natural and the supernatural is blurry indeed.

That is probably the world’s foremost collection of strange and enchanted relics and artifacts, going from ancient magician props to Egyptian papyrs for enchantment and spells, to the original photos of fairies signed by Arthur Conan Doyle. A human horned skull is not missing.
Christian Chelman is difficult to define. He is at the same time a Collector, Writer, Storyteller, Anthropologyst, Occultist, Chryptozologist, Surrealist, Shaman ...
Some of the sites are working better in the French version, e.g. "Latest Acquisitions" with the "Vampire Killing Kit" (!) ... anyway - don't miss it!

The Fantastic in Art and Fiction

Magic The Black Arts and the Occult: The basis of many a fantastic tale involves an invisible world of secrets, accessible with a particular kind of knowledge.

Magic, alchemy and the occult are thus keys that allow entry into certain zones of the Fantastic. More important, they drive the intellectual engine of the Fantastic; even as they wane, they preside over the gestation of science fiction. The grimoire of the Magus becomes the mad-scientist’s user’s manual. Our selections include depictions of witches and sorcerers, instruction pages from the classic work of secret sciences entitled The Magus, illustrations of alchemical workshops, cabalistic mappings of biblical passages, and cover illustrations from the first issues of Amazing Stories, Hugo Gernsbach’s celebrated pulp journal devoted to science and fantastic fiction.

Weird Science

The religious supernatural recognizes\zed a self torn between transcendent forces that fought for its possession. The Devil and his minions, the Demons, engaged in a struggle for the soul with the angels and guardian spirits. When the religious supernatural expresses the search for salvation in terms of conflict and terror it anticipates the universe of Fantastic anxiety.

A particular interest in this cluster of images is the material drawn from Cornell's extensive Witchcraft collection.

An extraordinary compilation where the paradigmatic struggle between observation and vision so crucial to the Fantastic is constantly played out. By the time of the early Enlightenment, the Bestiary, like its more recnent relative the Encyclopedia, participates in the totalizing intent of a catalogue whose purpose is the scientific understanding of the world. Empirical observation banishes from these increasingly imposing tomes any creatures that have not been observed in their environment. So the unicorn and the dragon, the griffon and the sea serpent, and all their relations take refuge in the annals of folklore, until the fantastic and its adjudant, surrealism, release them once more into literary discourse from the prisons where rational inquiry had consigned them.

Ancient Marvels: Japan’s Mysterious Pyramids

Most historians and archaeologists maintain that civilization as we know it began about 5,000 years ago with the emergence of the earliest Egyptian dynasty. But, a small yet persuasive number of scientists believes that a highly advanced civilization, nearly twice as old, flourished during the last Ice Age. Solid evidence of this 10,000-year-old civilization is difficult to produce, but some feel a recent discovery off the coast of a tiny Japanese island, Yonaguni, may be the proof they seek.

This History Channel presentation travels to the site and plunges beneath the waves to examine the discovery, and talks to the investigators who are trying to unearth the secrets it holds.

The answers remain unknown, but the questions themselves may forever change some of the most basic assumptions about our past.

Here is Japan's Mysterious Pyramids - Total runtime 42 minutes:

Pyramids were built with concrete rather than rocks, scientists claim by The Times Online.
The research, by materials scientists from national institutions, adds fuel to a theory that the pharaohs’ craftsmen had enough skill and materials at hand to cast the two-tonne limestone blocks that dress the Cheops and other Pyramids. Despite mounting support from scientists, Egyptologists have rejected the concrete claim, first made in the late 1970s by Joseph Davidovits, a French chemist.

The Tagish Lake meteorite was already regarded as exceptional because its mineral composition linked it to the earliest days of the formation of the solar system, more than 4.5bn years ago. The fragments of meteorite that still exist are among the most pristine in the world, as they were protected from contamination when they became wedged in blocks of lake ice.

Enigma - Goodbye Milky Way

Take a little time to relax and enjoy the beautiful music by Enigma about our galaxy. Pictures of Galaxies and Nebulas fit this song well.

LYRICS: Enigma "Goodbye Milky Way"

Shall I go, shall I stay
107 light years away
many times, so many doubts
But no reason to talk about

Mission is over, mission is done
I will miss you, children of the sun
Now it's time to go away
Goodbye, goodbye milky way

For a better world without hate
Follow your heart, believe in fate
Only visions and the mind
Will guide you to the light

Mission is over mission is done
I will miss you children of the sun
Now it's time to go and say
Goodbye, goodbye milky way

Mission is over, mission is done
I will miss you children of the sun
I go home until someday
I say goodbye, goodbye milky way

In 5 billions years the Andromeda galaxy will collide with our milky way
A new gigantic Cosmic world will be born

Here is another version:
